REDUCE
Anutone is selflessly
committed to the green building movement even if it
means reduced business from projects! In a bid to
reduce the use of products and yet improve the ambience,
Anutone has developed concepts like Carnival Floats
and Celebration Clouds for ceilings. For walls, there
are AnutoneSoft and AnutoneSynthfab that can be hung
at strategic locations. All these obviate
the need for continuous ceilings and
wall coverings.
In product design, Anutone has
innovated with AutoAir in AnutoneSoak
panels that reduce use of raw material per panel,
yet achieve better performance.

REUSE
Anutone
wall and ceiling solutions are from dry construction
products and very modular - meaning they can be easily
assembled, dismantled and reused. Again this could
be termed as a self-goal since Anutone could very
well lose repeat business! But it does not matter
in the larger interest of a greener world!
Many of Anutone products are made
from reused products. AnutoneSeptum is made
from pre-used wood-cement particles (see flowchart
on right); AnutoneSoft is made from pre-used glass
bottles; AnutoneSynthfab from pre-used polyester-based
products etc.

RECYCLE
Most
of Anutone products can be
recycled. Products like
AnutoneSmooth
are recycled at Anutone’s Bangalore plant to
be made into AnutoneSeptum (see flowchart below).
Similarly AnutoneSnazz can be recycled as a filler
material in plasterboards; AnutoneSynth can go back
to the polyfibre industry etc..
