Size Zero is the current
fad so can Anutone’s design+development
team be far behind? Everybody wants it slim,
superslim! After Size Zero laptops, smartphones,
televisions and ramp models, comes the ultra-slim,
ultrachic Soak series of fabric-wrapped
wall panels.
Soak
Cordura, Cord & Plane earlier had a
limitation of minimum thickness, 20mm. This
was due to kerfed long edges to receive
H-Spline. This also resulted in a site problem
of panels being able to be dismantled from
one corner only. Now to meet the demand from
designers for space-saving slimmer panels,
Anutone has innovated to result in 10mm
thick panels that can be hung on walls and
more importantly dismantled from any point.
Also all edges are fully finished - so panels
can be installed discretely as floating
islands!
For
additional airgap behind these Size Zero
panels, Anutone’s recent innovation
of a very slim Strut channel, the CC10,
comes in useful (see e-news # 24 dated 22
September 2009). And if this
still does not satisfy you for sound absorption,
Anutone’s very slim Synth 5x10 and
10x10, fitted in the 10mm airgap, do the
honours!
Launching
January 2010!
