You have seen over the last few weeks that Pixel Smery, Anutone’s wonder paint solution, coats interior surfaces not just with colour but many other features hitherto not possible. This is the last in the series.

Pixel Smery, combining features of aesthetics, acoustics and economics, also brings in the ‘green’ factor, considered indispensable for all architectural spaces today. Pixel Smery is meticulously developed to be hygienic and does not emit any volatile organic compound (VOC). It thus contributes to a ‘healthy’ ambience. More, options include white or light shades, which are highly reflective, and hence not only accentuates the lighting scheme of spaces but also contributes to energy savings. Reduction in the carbon footprint ensues - thus doubling up the eco factor. Pixel Smery comes in a standard texture of Sibyl Plus. But custom textures are possible throwing open myriad possibilities to the designer. Installation is a cinch. It is very similar to a drywall lining or ceiling. Step 1 - Mark the surfaces and install Anutone’s Strut framing at 600mm spans for walls and 400mm for ceilings. Step 2 - Install Pixel Taper boards 1200x2400mm and tape/fill the joints with Anutone’s Seam. Step 3 - Coat the resultant smooth, seamless surface with white primer Step 4 - Adhere the Smery rolls to the Pixel Taper with Anutone’s Stick. Step 5 - Paint the Pixel Smery surface with the desired shade. Finished!
